Why you want to be elected?
I have been the coordinator of two delegations in which I was a delegate myself, so I know firsthand what kind of difficulties the delegations might face when preparing for their first international session. I’ve also assisted in fundraising for the delegation to the Stockholm International Session, having developed a step-by-step instruction for fundraising and a new approach towards writing fundraising letters for delegations. Therefore I feel I have enough experience to share with other delegates to help them get the most out of international EYP as well as other international events.

How will you contribute to the work of the European Youth Parliament – Ukraine?
As the Board Member on International Activities I would like to apply my skills and experience in facilitating the participation of EYPers in international events, as well as ensure that EYP is always represented in the best way.

What are your plans for the term you are running for?
As the Board Member on International Activities I plan to create an International Activities Department of EYP-Ukraine where each member will have specific tasks to fulfill, such as monitoring the visa regulation changes for different European Countries, as well as researching information on other international events (conferences, meetings, trainings etc.) where EYPers could take part and represent EYP.

I will also involve the department members into developing clear step-by-step instructions for delegation preparations as well as assign coordinators to different delegations, while monitoring their work and assisting with any issues, in order to ensure successful preparation of each delegation.

Together with the Fundraising Department I hope to develop an efficient fundraising letter for delegations and assist each delegation with fundraising money necessary to cover participation fees and travel costs.

I also plan to avoid applications on behalf of the EYP members who are, in fact, not members of the EYP at all, by cooperating closely with the head organizers of the EYP and other international events. This way I will make sure that the people, who have applied to certain events, have informed me about their application and are, in fact, members of the EYP. Therefore the image of EYP-Ukraine and its members will not suffer.
