Why you want to be elected?
I feel myself confident of holding the aforementioned position, since I have a strong wish to strengthen the cooperation of EYP-Ukraine and other National Committees around Europe. Moreover, I wish to raise the level of the representation of EYP-Ukraine on International arena.
How will you contribute to the work of the European Youth Parliament – Ukraine?
Apart from taking part in various projects and building a strong international cooperation, as a Board member on International Activities I would take action to build a teams out of the delegations to go abroad.
What are your plans for the term you are running for?
Over the past few years EYP has grown very large internationally. So did EYP-Ukraine. The number of sessions has doubled if not tripled, the amount of members going abroad has multiplied. Furthermore, more sessions require more international participants: Presidents, officials and delegations. One of the goals I plan to achieve is to build the image of EYP-Ukraine as a proactive and innovative National Committee to attract more highly qualified participants to our events. From a different angle, the image of a country is composed of the impressions of the delegations, therefore I shall pay additional attention to the capacity building of Ukraine representatives going abroad. Finally, all of the outlined goals require broadening cooperation with other NCs. Being more specific, I wish to carry out a chair’s training with international trainers and enable our members to participate in the future EYP project – Training for trainers.
