January 15, 2012 Each of the 8 committees leaded by a couple of International and Ukrainian chairperson will go through traditional EYP activities. The most talented and active delegates will be selected to represent EYP-Ukraine on International Sessions in Istanbul and Amsterdam.
January 10, 2012 Seeking the best EYP picture from 2011. The winner will receive a ˆ100 travel grant to the 25th birthday celebration of EYP, which will take place in Fontainebleau, France, this autumn.
January 3, 2012 EYP-Ukraine is happy to announce approaching VinSpring National Selection 2012, taking place in charming city of Vinnitsa between 2nd and 5th of March 2012.


December 31, 2011 From 23rd to 27th, November a Regional Session of EYP-Czech Republic was held in the city of Pardubice. EYP-Ukraine was represented by Natalia Tarasevych (in a role of a Vice-President) and Lyubov Dvoretska (in a role of a Journalist).
December 10, 2011 On December 1 the EYP International office in Berlin greeted the participants of the EYP Think Tank, a collaborative project of the European Youth Parliament, Schwarzkopf Foundation ‘Junges Europa’, and Hertie Foundation.
November 22, 2011 On November 17 the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine hosted the annual National Capacity Building Fair organised by the Gurt Resource Centre.
November 16, 2011 dedicated to ecological issues, by establishing a partnership with civil initiative “Let’s do it, Ukraine!”
November 2, 2011 From the 27th till the 30th of October, two board members of EYP-Ukraine, Kristina Chelmakina and Anna Suprunenko, went to Berlin for the Fundraising Summit. For three days board members from over 20 National Committees of EYP were sharing their fundraising ideas and strategies and developed new innovative approaches together.
October 20, 2011 The 68th International Session of the European Youth Parliament was hosted by the beautiful historical city of Zagreb in Croatia. The Session lasted for 10 unforgettable days from September 30th till October 9th, 2011. Andrei Gyrych, Anna Lachykhina, Ievgenii Manko, Vitalii Ovsiiuk, and Roksolana Pidlasa, members of EYP – Ukraine, attended the Session as delegates.
October 10, 2011 Welcome the results of the latest European Youth Poll on Immigration and Asylum Policy (joint project of the EYP and Mercator Foundation)
October 3, 2011 The first General Assembly of this autumn was held in the Lyceum of International Relations ¹51. The ceremony gathered together 45 participants, school pupils and university students, including 25 newcomers.
October 2, 2011 The 1st Joint School Session of European Youth Parliament – Ukraine, Ukrainian Youth Assembly, and International Relations Lyceum #51 was held in Kyiv on September 24-26, 2011.
September 27, 2011 On 24-28 August the city of Chernihiv hosted a Regional Session of European Youth Parliament.
September 25, 2011 The event will take place in Kyiv on October 1
September 21, 2011 Between 14th and 16th September, 2011, the 9th National Session of the European Youth Parliament Norway was held in Trondheim city which is located in Central Norway.
September 20, 2011 On September 17 a traditional Kyiv Youth Festival was held in Mariinskiy park.
September 19, 2011 Between September 7th and 11th National Selection Conference of EYP-Poland in Warsaw took place. Oksana Korchak was honoured to represent Ukraine and to be one of the 10 international chairpersons of the session.
September 16, 2011 Between August 31st and September 4th National Selection Conference in Paralimni (Cyprus) took place. Anna Suprunenko was honoured to be one of the 10 international people present at the session in a position of a chairperson. Overall, session gathered around 150 people, what’s quite a big number, taking into account a type of the session.
September 14, 2011 From August 28 till September 3 the city of Weimar, Germany, hosted the International Forum dedicated to the Weimar Triangle’s anniversary. The event brought together Polish, French, German, Czech, and Ukrainian EYPers. Ukraine was represented by Uchenna Chiedozie Egbete (chairperson) and delegates Tamara Kuripko, Oleksandra Gordienko, Olena Gordienko, and Anna Derevyanko.
September 12, 2011 At this session Ukraine was presented by the Vice-president – Dmytro Honcharenko and a delegate – Maria Kononenko.
September 10, 2011 Between 12 th and 16 th August Ukrainian delegation participated in the International Youth forum organised by EYP-Georgia. The Ukrainian delegation was represented by Evheniia Melekhovets (editor), Anna Lachykhina (chairperson), Lyubov Dvoretska (journalist), Yegor Vlasenko (journalist), and delegates – Roksolana Pidlasa, Ruslan Azarov, Nataliia Vorobey, Chrystyna Kyrylych, Yurii Kyrylych, Vadym Kyselev, Oksana Maiba, and Olena Grygor’eva.
September 8, 2011 During August 15-24 the delegation of EYP-Ukraine represented our national committee at the International session in Grenoble, France. Enjoy the first hand impressions of the participants!

Between 4th-11th of August in Girona, Spain, took place the Iberian forum of EYP. The forum gathered 150 young Europeans from around 15 European countries. The Ukrainian delegation was represented by only one person - Maria Shcherbak, who was delegate.
August 9, 2011 On July 29, 2011 in the city of Kiev the signature of the Treaty of Cooperation between the International Youth NGO “European Youth Parliament – Ukraine” and the “Open Hearts of Ukraine” Charity Foundation went through. The Treaty covers joint projects in the spheres of education, culture and charity activities.
August 3, 2011 EYP - Ukraine is delighted to release the call for applications for the first ever Training for EYP - Ukraine City Representatives from 26th till 27th of August, 2011, taking place in Chernihiv.
July 20, 2011 Between 28th june – 8th july , 2011, the Balkan’s exchange forum of the European Youth Parliament took place in Black Sea Riviera, Romania, which gathered participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Ukraine. Our country was represented by Oleksandra Gipsh, who chaired a committee of 12 delegates.

July 8, 2011 Seven chairs, six organisers, four journalists, and almost 40 delegates – this is the crew of the First Summer Forum of EYP Hungary. The fifth biggest city in Hungary, Győr, welcomed all the brightest minds from Hungary, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Poland, Greece, Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

June 26, 2011 As it is widely known, Istanbul is a city of contrasts. Only here a church may face a sky-scraper, the buildings standing on different sides of the road. Not only do the buildings vary here, but people also represent different cultures, pray to different Gods, their social backgrounds are also not the same.
June 25, 2011 Romania – the land of vampires. Although none of them were found, this land is still full of history, castles, beautiful hills, mountains and meadows. You can spend the whole day exploring Romanian cities, but that obviously would not be enough.

June 9, 2011 The German Chancellor backs away from her pro-European positions, the French President supports her, and in Finland a party opposing European help for Greece wins elections: While national reflexes seem to be a common reaction to the Euro-crisis, the youth in Europe take a clear stand for more Europe in times of turmoil. This is the result of the first European Youth Poll by the European Youth Parliament in cooperation with Stiftung Mercator.

May 26, 2011 The National Selection Conference of EYP-Austria took place in the capital of the country from April, 29th to May, 2nd. Natalia Tarasevych, Ukrainian EYPer, was a moderator in one of the committees.
May 22, 2011 'European Youth Parliament – Ukraine' was actively involved in organising the celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine. On May 14th the celebration of Europe Day, organised by the Delegation of the EU in Ukraine, took place in Mykolaiv. On May 21st the celebration of Europe Days organised by Kyiv City Administration took place in Kyiv. Anna Lachykhina, member of EYP-Ukraine was a Coordinator of volunteers for Europe Days in Ukraine.
May 21, 2011 Valeriya Cherednichenko, the member of the 'European Youth Parliament – Ukraine' became a chairperson at the 6th National Selection Conference of EYP-Spain, which took place on 11–14 May 2011 in Madrid.
May 20, 2011 This far away from the residence of EYP-Ukraine, in Portuguese city of Evora, the XXIV National Selection Conference of EYP-Portugal took place (April 29 – May 01, 2011). The event gathered around 50 pupils from six different schools who competed for the right to represent their country at the International Session in Zagreb, Croatia. Two Ukrainian Chaipersons – Evheniia Melekhovets and Anna Suprunenko – were actively helping them to achieve their goal.
May 19, 2011 Kateryna Kalendruz, member of the European Youth Parliament – Ukraine, took part in the Communication Training held on April 28 – May 01, 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland.
May 18, 2011 Ukrainian delegation participated in the 66th International Session of EYP, which was held on April 01-10, 2011 in Athens, Greece. This important international event gathered more than 250 delegates representing 31 European countries.
May 15, 2011 “Dnipropetrovshchina – Ukraine – European Union” Euroforum took place in Kryvyi Rih during May 13 – 14, 2011. EYP-Ukraine held a mini Session for the students of the city within the forum framework on May 14.
May 13, 2011 On April 27 the city of Kharkiv hosted the second mini-session of EYP-Ukraine. The aim of the event was to encourage active young people to join the public discussion of important social problems under the session topic “Dialogue between cultures – on the way to tolerance and democracy”.

April 30, 2011 The 'European Youth Parliament – Ukraine' announces the Call for Chairs and Journalists for the 2nd Ternopil Mini-session. The event will be held on the 22nd of May, 2011 as one of the events to mark this year's Europe Day celebrations in Ternopil.

April 12, 2011 Europe Days in Ukraine – is a great chance to volunteer at one of the most prominent European events in Ukraine and to work closely with many interesting people and partner organizations from all over Europe. Being a volunteer at this event means to work in an awesome team with promotional items, to take part in the Europe Parade, to attend the concert of international celebrities and to visit the European village.
April 8, 2011 EYP-Ukraine is pleased to announce that the next General Assembly will take place on April 17, 2011 in Kyiv.
March 31, 2011 The National Selection Conference of EYP Czech Republic was held in a beautiful city of Plzeň on March 23-27, 2011. The Session gathered around 70 delegates from all over the Czech Republic, who came to the Session in school delegations. Kateryna Popovych, member of the EYP Ukraine, who attended the Session as a Journalist, shared her impressions with us.
March 25, 2011 On March 19-21, 2011 three Ukrainian girls, Oleksandra Gipsh, Dariia Popelnukh and Lyubov Dvoretska visited the Regional Session held in a small city of Rezekne situated in the south of Latvia.
March 19, 2011 'Lucca is a city and commune in Tuscany, central Italy, situated on the river Serchio in a fertile plain near the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is the capital city of the Province of Lucca. Among other reasons, it is famous for its intact Renaissance-era city walls'. However, after the XXVI National Selection of EYP-Italy, which took place on March 19-23, 2011 in Lucca, an abstract about this legendary event should be added to the city description in Wikipedia.

March 13, 2011 Between 9/03 and 13/03 the 16th Regional Session of EYP-Poland took place in the wonderful city of Wroclaw. It gathered over 80 participants from more than 10 countries of Europe. It was presided by Mr. Jon Vrushi, who actively encouraged the innovative concept of the session.
March 11, 2011 FrankNational Session of the EYP Ukraine took place on March 4-7, 2011 in the beautiful city of Ivano-Frankivsk. The session gathered around 80 delegates from different Ukrainian schools and universities.
March 5, 2011 As other National Committees of the EYP EYP-Belgiumholds it’s National Selection every year, this time the session took place on March 1-4. The great honor for EYP-Ukraine is the fact that Kristina Chelmakina, the Board Member of EYP-Ukraine was a Vice-President of the session.
March 1, 2011 The 1st International Training on Session Management was held by EYP France in Paris on February 24-27, 2011. Two members of EYP-Ukraine, Oleksandra Gipsh and Dmytro Grama, took part at this event.
February 22, 2011 The 3rd National Selection of EYP-Hungary was held in Pécs, the largest city of the Transdanubian region in South-West Hungary. Moreover, in 2010 this city was named one of the Cultural Capitals of Europe. On February 17-20, 2011 it brought together about 100 people from all over Hungary and several European countries to discuss current issues related to the session topic: 'The Present of the EU – the Hungarian Presidency'.
February 17, 2011 The first mini-session of the European Youth Parliament among pupils was held on February 17th, 2011 in Krivyi Rih. It gathered more than 80 delegates from all over the city. The theme of the sessions was defined as “Dialogue between Cultures – Way to Enlargement of the European Union”.
February 8, 2011 On February 3-7 February 2011 Stockholm hosted a three-day National Session of EYP-Sweden. This session gathered delegations from all over the country from Malmo to Uppsala, as well as chairs and journalists from all over Europe, who came to share the EYP spirit with young Swedes.
February 6, 2011 Still cold and snowy, but as always charming and ageless, mid-February Vilnus was a home for over than 60 EYPers from Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland and Germany.
