13th National Selection Conference of EYP Czech Republic in Plzeň
The National Selection Conference of EYP Czech Republic was held in a
beautiful city of Plzeň on March 23-27, 2011. The Session gathered around 70 delegates from all over the Czech Republic, who came to the Session in school delegations. Kateryna Popovych, member of the EYP Ukraine, who attended the Session as a Journalist, shared her impressions with us.
The most active delegates were selected for the upcoming International Session of the EYP in Zagreb, Croatia 2011 and International Session of the EYP in Istanbul, Turkey 2012. Apart from that, school delegations as well as individuals were selected for other international forums, national and regional conferences of the EYP.
Among the officials of this National Selection Conference was Kateryna Popovych, member of the EYP Ukraine, who attended the Session as a Journalist and shared her impressions with us:
“This Session had a unique and significant importance to me, as the Session was comprised of truly experienced and skilled officials, whose hard and devoted work was visible throughout the Session and even after it. It was a great opportunity to learn a lot about what’s an “ideal” session is, as the Session was very well organized and managed the whole time. The delegates themselves have amazed me to a great extent while working in the committees, preparing their school presentations or Czech-village (which was all in all a great success!) and socializing after a hard-working day. I have established many new contacts and I’m truly and whole-heartedly anticipating seeing them again at other sessions of the EYP!”
