The EYP-Ukraine conducted the Annual National Session
FrankNational Session of EYP-Ukraine took place on March 4-7, 2011 in the beautiful city of Ivano-Frankivsk. The session gathered around 80 delegates from different Ukrainian schools and universities. Participants worked in 8 committees under the common topic “Social Responsibility in Europe: On the Way to Unifying Standards”.
The Opening ceremony, which was held on the 6th of March in Ivano-Frankivsk Regoinal Centre of Retraining and Qualification Extension was honored by the presence of local authorities as well as Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Raiffeisen Bank Aval Director Halyna Starchevska, the head of “Info-mist” company Iryna Tyriy and the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Youth Administration Hanna Krysiuk.
After the ceremony all the delegates moved to Ivano-Frankivsk College of Tourism and Hotel Management, where they had their committee work and resolution writing. Eight resolutions, produced by the committees were presented at the GA on the 7th of March. Many distinguished guests, who were present during the General Assembly, addressed the delegates during the Closing ceremony. Among these honorable guests Mr. Zoltan Salai, the representative of the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine, Mr. Patrick Purcell, instruction Supervisor at Raiffeisen Bank Aval.
During the committee work and GA delegates showed good quality of preparation, extremely high level of knowledge and language skills.
FrankNational Session became an unforgettable experience for each and everyone. 36 participants were recommended as delegates to different EYP events:2 delegations to International Sessions, delegations to International Forums and Regional Sessions.
The Session was supported by the Department on external affairs, tourism and investment of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast State Administration, Ivano-Frankisvk Youth Administration, as well as private companies: Raiffeisen Bank Aval, PreCarpathian trading House and Info-Mist Company.
