Batumi 3rd International Forum of EYP Georgia

Between 12 th and 16 th August Ukrainian delegation participated in the International Youth forum organised by EYP-Georgia. The Ukrainian delegation was represented by Evheniia Melekhovets (editor), Anna Lachykhina (chairperson), Lyubov Dvoretska (journalist), Yegor Vlasenko (journalist), and delegates – Roksolana Pidlasa, Ruslan Azarov, Nataliia Vorobey, Chrystyna Kyrylych, Yurii Kyrylych, Vadym Kyselev, Oksana Maiba, and Olena Grygor’eva.
The participants were impressed by traditional Georgian hospitality that created a truly warm and friendly atmosphere of the event. One of the special appeals of the Forum was general team building that took place outdoors, in Batumi National Botanical Garden. Committee work took place in the building of the Shota Rustaveli State University, and the official opening and closing ceremonies were hosted by the Sheraton Batumi hotel. The participants were warmly greeted by representatives of Georgian government and officials of Adjara Region. The multicultural character of the Forum was proved during Eurovillage and Euroconcert, where delegations presented traditions and culture of their native countries and their national cuisine. Ukrainian dishes were found to be the best ones, and representatives of the home country of the Forum, Georgia, surprised everybody with magnificent national dances. The entertaining program of the Forum also included visit to aquapark and committee dinner during which everybody enjoyed a possibility to taste national Georgian dishes.
Picturesque Black sea, Georgian hospitality, and modern architecture of Batumi made the event unforgettable for the Ukrainian participants.
