2011 Summer Leadership Forum ‘CACTUS will be organised this year by Nataliia Tarasevych, board member of EYP-Ukraine.
Are you ready to make a difference in your community?
If so, CACTUS is the program for you!
An event
will take place in Ternopil, August 1-11.
The CACTUS ’11 Summer Leadership Forum will invite 60 participants from all over Ukraine! Participants should possess an intermediate to advanced level of English and be between the ages of 16-18 years old.
At the CACTUS ’11 Summer Leadership Forum you will:
- Improve your English speaking abilities
- Learn valuable leadership skills
- Learn how to work as a member of a team
- Plan and implement a community service project
- Take interesting classes in topics such as Spanish, Speech and Debate, and many more
- Participate in fun and challenging team competitions
- Take part in nightly social events ranging from discos to cooking competitions
- Meet new people from Ukraine and from around the world
An international staff with extensive experience in civic engagement and service projects will lead the forum.
Participants and staff will stay in a hotel and will be provided with 3 meals per day. All participants will be charged a fee of 300 hrn for the forum and will pay for their own transportation to and from Ternopil.
