From the 27th till the 30th of October, two board members of EYP-Ukraine, Kristina Chelmakina and Anna Suprunenko, went to Berlin for the Fundraising Summit.
For three days board members from over 20 National Committees of EYP were sharing their fundraising ideas and strategies and developed new innovative approaches together. The training was moderated by Ville Vasaramäki, the executive director of international office of the European Youth Parliament.
The training can be claimed efficient and fruitful. Participants learned how to apply for different grants, what are the best approaches to the private companies, efficient ways to maintain partnership with previous sponsors, continue cooperation in future, and separately analysed the procedure of application for the “Youth in Action” grant.
Despite all the serious matters the atmosphere of the summit was fraught with friendly smiles and cozy talks as none of EYP events is imagined without its unique spirit.
Now we can be sure that all the EYP-Ukraine initiatives in 2012 will be financially secured!
