The first General Assembly of this autumn was held in the Lyceum of International Relations №51. The ceremony gathered together 45 participants, school pupils and university students, including 25 newcomers.
The ceremony of GA was opened with the traditional EYP presentation, during which the participants had a chance to know more about mission and goals of our National Committee and its Departments.
The agenda of the ceremony also included presentation of summer EYP-events, in which Ukrainian EYPers
participated – national selection conferences, regional and international sessions, and international youth forums. The reports on these events are available on our website. The presentations included photos and videos prepared by press teams and delegates of the summer event, and conversations with the participants who visited the General Assembly.
For those interested in travelling within Europe, it was really important and interesting to listen to the seminar on Schengen visas, delivered by Board Member Kristina Chelmakina.
The main peculiarity of the event was the shortest EYP mini-session ever, which lasted for less than hour and a half. This training session appeared to be a huge surprise and challenge for everyone, as during this short period of time the participants managed to take part in team building activities, committee work, and even public debates and defense of motions for resolutions. Now we can truly say that the participants are ready to take part in the real EYP events in Ukraine and abroad.
EYP-Ukraine expresses its gratitude to all members of the organization who visited the ceremony, and greets the newcomers. We are looking forward to see you at our future events!
