Member of EYP-Ukraine participated in Geneva Communication Training
Kateryna Kalendruz, member of the European Youth Parliament – Ukraine, took part in the Communication Training held on April 28 – May 01, 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland. Communication Training gathered 16 participants for an amazing weekend in Geneva. This EYP event brought together prominent young people providing them with lots of useful information and skills on intercultural communication.
The selection of trainers was perfect – Kathy Campbell gave a better insight on how cultural differences affect our way of interacting with other people and Jari Marjelund complemented this information with examples of efficient and inefficient speeches, tips on writing a speech and understanding your personality better.
EYP-Switzerland has done a great job coming up with such an idea of the training and implementing it. Everything was very well-organised and the organisers were very friendly and helpful. Thus, the participants only wished the event was longer. But again, you can never get enough of any EYP activity!
