On July 29, 2011 in the city of Kiev the signature of the Treaty of Cooperation between the International Youth NGO “European Youth Parliament – Ukraine” and the “Open Hearts of Ukraine” Charity Foundation went through. The Treaty covers joint projects in the spheres of education, culture and charity activities.
The main objectives of the “Open Hearts of Ukraine” Foundation are charitable activities aimed at:
• assistance to orphan children, children orphanages’ graduates, children with peculiarities in development, children from poor families, high-risk infants;
• assistance and support to gifted young people;
• implementation of educational programs, assistance to gifted students, pupils;
• help to persons suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses, participation in care and treatment of such persons, facilitating the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these diseases;
• environmental issues, issues related to animals living in cities and humane attitude towards them;
• other charitable activities in the public interest, charitable aid to those who need it.
One of the declared projects in the text of the Treaty provides support of the "Open Hearts of Ukraine" Charity Foundation to holding of the 1st Chernihiv Regional Session of EYP-Ukraine on August 24-28, 2011.
