Regional Session in Latvia: Members of the EYP Ukraine present!
On March 19-21, 2011 three Ukrainian girls, Oleksandra Gipsh, Dariia Popelnukh and Lyubov Dvoretska visited the Regional Session held in a small city of Rezekne situated in the south of Latvia.
Oleksandra and Dariia were the chairpersons, when Lyubov was a journalist at the session.
All in all, it was quite an unusual 3-day-session. Why? Firstly, all the participants were sleeping in the sleeping bags inside the school, where this event took place. And secondly, majority of delegates spoke fluent Russian (which is a rare case for EYP sessions).
The official’s team of the session was good, and delegates were amazing! It was their first EYP experience and they all were very excited about the event. Mostly they liked team-building part, though the committee work was also very productive and fruitful.
