Kharkiv hosted the Second Mini-Session of EYP-Ukraine
On April 27 the city of Kharkiv hosted the second mini-session of EYP-Ukraine. The aim of the event was to encourage active young people to join the public discussion of important social problems under the session topic “Dialogue between cultures – on the way to tolerance and democracy”.
The delegates of the session represented major higher educational establishments of Kharkiv. During the session delegates had an opportunity to get acquainted with EYP-Ukraine and take part in the main activities of every EYP-session, including team-building, committee work on the issues within the session topic, and public presentation of the motions for resolutions.
For many delegates the mini-session turned out to be the first experience of teamwork training, so team-building in the sunny square near the National University ’Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy of Ukraine‘ was a pleasant surprise for everyone.
Encouraged by team-building exercises and ready for fruitful teamwork, the participants returned to the committee work venue in the academy. The official part of the mini-session was started with the presentation of EYP-Ukraine and recent national and international EYP-events.
