How to Establish EYP Regional Branch in Your City/Region?
1.
be an active member of the European Youth Parliament for at least 6 months;
2.
inform EYP-Ukraine Board about the intention to become a regional representative via e-mail at rd@eyp-ua.org;
3.
write a letter stating one’s intent to become an EYP-Ukraine representative in the region (letter must be signed and dated) and submit it for the review by the EYP-Ukraine Board at ‘EYP-Ukraine, à/ñ 409B, 01001, Kyiv, Ukraine’;
In the occasion of EYP-Ukraine Board voting in favor of the candidate’s appointment as EYP-Ukraine regional representative, an official letter will be issued to the candidate confirming his/her initial appointment as an INTERIM EYP-Ukraine regional representative for a trial period of 3 months;
In the occasion of EYP Board voting against the candidate’s appointment as EYP-Ukraine regional representative, the candidate can apply again in 2 months; to increase his/her chances for an appointment a candidate should participate in at least 2 more EYP activities;
4.
during the trial period, the representative ad interim must conduct at least one EYP project, prior approved by the EYP-Ukraine Board (i.e. EU essay competition, mini-session etc.);
Upon the termination of the trial period, an interim representative will be evaluated by both regional team (including the participants of EYP project organized by the representative) and EYP-Ukraine Board as well as interviewed for the position;
When evaluating a prospective candidate, EYP-Ukraine Board will take into consideration the feedback received from the regional team; however, EYP-Ukraine Board carries an ultimate authority with regard to appointments and cancellations of appointments
If the candidate doesn’t meet the expectations during the trial period, he/she can apply for this position in 6 months;
If the prospective candidate is found to fully meet all the requirements for a position of a regional representative, an official letter will be issued to inform the candidate as well as the whole regional team and the rest of the EYP-Ukraine offices.
