National Selection of the Delegates to the 53rd International EYP Session (October 13-22, 2006) in Kyiv, Ukraine and 54th International EYP Session (Spring 2007) in Potsdam, Germany
Criteria for candidates:
*
Desire to learn more about EU, its institutions and policy-making;
* Motivation to represent Ukraine on the international level;
* Strong presentation skills;
* Fluent English (written and spoken);
* French and/or other languages is a big PLUS (not obligatory though);
* Age: 15-21 years old;
* Readiness to fundraise/pay yourself for your participation in the Sessions (participation fee is 150 euro – general fee submitted to EYP Central Office at every EYP Intl Session);
* Great desire to experience unique EYP spirit and make a lot of new friendships J
To apply you have to:

Make sure you meet all the criteria above.
2. Send your most recent CV + Creative Assignment “What can Ukraine do to inspire European Union?” (one page, single-spaced, 12 pt font - see the attached document) to: natalya_voynarovska@yahoo.com by August 31st, 2006.

Creative Assignment: What can Ukraine do to inspire EU?
There have been many discussions recently among political elite and common people regarding the necessity of Ukraine’s integration to European Union. Currently very few people have doubts that the aspirations to become a member and integration process itself can contribute a lot to Ukraine’s economic development and political stability. However, for better integration the process has to be mutual.
What can Ukraine contribute to growth, prosperity and better life in the EU? Please discuss any economic, political, social or cultural issues and provide arguments or background for your opinion.
